# Exporting a dataset

From the Streams dashboard, open a recording from your Recordings list, then select the download icon next to its file name. This opens the Download Recording dialog.

* Confirm or edit the File Name
* Confirm or change the Location it saves to
* Choose what to include: Raw data only, or Raw Data + Filter Configs
* Choose an export format: CSV, EDF, or EDF+
* Select Export

Once started, the download runs in the background and is tracked by a status card in the corner:

* While downloading, it shows progress and time remaining, with options to Pause or Cancel
* If paused, select Resume to continue, or Cancel to stop it
* Once complete, it shows the Saved Location, with a Show in Folder link to jump straight to the file
* If a download fails, select Retry Download to try again
